Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Mentis uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.

Template document. This policy is provided as a clear, NDPR-aware starting point. It is not legal advice and is pending review by Mentis' legal counsel before it becomes binding.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage.

2. The cookies we use

  • Essential — needed to sign you in, keep your session secure and remember basic preferences. The service cannot work without these.
  • Preferences — remember choices like your last view so the experience feels consistent.
  • Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, how people use Mentis so we can improve it. These are only set where permitted.

3. We don't use cookies for sensitive profiling

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles from your mental-health activity, and we do not sell cookie data.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to refuse some or all of them. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of Mentis from working, such as staying signed in.

5. More information
